Welcome to Mumbles Jet Ski Club !
We hope that this site will provide a valuable resource for Jet Skiers using Knab rock in Mumbles.
Why was the club created
Swansea council have had in the past neumerous complaints about water craft on the Knab rock slip way and were intending to close it..permenantly!
As locals to Swansea ourselves, we wanted to continue to use the slip way as it is one of the very few places which is both convenient and easy to launch and recover craft. We persuaded the local council to let us try and manage the issues which were causing the problems and start a club which would oversea this.
Initially, MumblesJetSkiClub was set up to help all the users of the slipway, however other local clubs wanted to control their own membership. So now our club welcomes PowerBoat and JetSki owners and our Web site is Free for all to use !
We now run as a non-profit club which seeks to ensure that the slip way which so many of use uses stays open!

You must complete or have completed an RYA proficency course before you can join the mumbles jet ski club (this is in the clubs constitution). RYA courses can be booked locally. Why not visit our forum to see the Training section

 | Stolen XLT 1200 |
 doc writes "Hi,
with the season beginning for many, I am re-newing my efforts to find my beloved Yamaha XLT 1200 2004 which was stolen from outside my house in Tayport Fife in November 2008. The ski is white with grey hood but most striking is the topsides are covered in black hydroturf. This could be removed but the gelcoat below is sanded for glue so would still be very obvious. She was taken away on an indespension roller coaster trailer which has a few paint spatters from when I sprayed parts of the hull. Chrome fluke anchor, cobra VHF, telescopic paddle, 5 meters chain with rope and flares where a few of the bits stored inside her. Data tagged but number not visible on hull.
She was covered with a black Jet Tribe cover at the time.
Uninsured and missed badly, please call police, let the harbour-master know or text me if you think you may have seen her.

| Our News: New Forum |
As I'm sure you'll have noticed, the foreign bandits took over our Forum and started to make it into an advertising agency for porn and viagra. Well, to combat this we've taken down the old forum and created a new forum where you can post.
It's new, it has more security features, it is more flexible and with any luck will help prevent this from happening again.
Unfortunately you going to have to re-register for this forum to ensure that your a real human being, a small price to pay to ensure that this community continues.
If you have any posts / information which you would like to see from the previous forum, please let me know and I'll endeavour to copy this over to the new forum.

With a lot of investigation work, we have managed to restart the Forum !
You may notice a change as the Whole site has been upgraded and there are additional functions and security available.
If you do notice anything that does not work, please eMail me!
The cause of the forum failure to post was down to the upgrade of PHP by the hosting company which was incompatible with PHPNuke. I have upgraded the site and this seems to have solved our issue !
